I've got a 2000 Ducati 748. The original keyed/hinged gas cap would leak after filling up the tank and the bike was on the side or if I wheelied. Could not find replacement seals/gaskets. The OEM gas cap assembly was around $227. And while I have to get used to doing something with this cap since it's not attached/hinged to the tank, I can live with that for the massive savings. I did apply a light coat of silicone grease to the rubber gasket that touches the top of the filler neck as well as the o-ring on the cap itself. All in all, I'm pleased. ;-)Perfect fit for my bike easy to install and looks great on the bikelooks great, fits very well, nice addition to my 748.
