First off,I love the slogan that this doll line has adapted. "BE UNIQUE. BE YOURSELF. BE A MONSTER." It teaches to have love and respect for your unique qualities and that it is Okay to be different and to stand for who you are. I also love that Mattel took horror and sci-fi icons and made them into something beautiful. There is beauty in what most people would call "strange" "scary" or "ugly". They are some of the first "unconventional" line of dolls that are targeted for children, that adults have grown to love also.But on to the beautiful Rochelle Goyle. This is my very First Monster High Doll, so I was a little nervous about her durability especially in the legs. (I have read reviews about legs coming loose easily on the earlier line). I recieved mine today and I love her already and simply can not wait until the newer additions!! Her durabilty is actually pretty good. Her legs are ball-jointed. It keeps them together better than the elastic band I have heard the earlier line had. So, I was very pleased with that.Her hair is soft in the back and her bangs are stiff, so if you plan on styling her bangs, that may require you to rinse her hair.Her outfit is detailed beautifully, I especially love her fishnet stockings and her underskirt. The material is amazing. Her purse can open also, so you can put a coin or two in it, lol.Her skin is beautiful, she has specks all over to indicate that is made of stone. And she photographs very well.Overall, I would highly recommend this doll!! Especially for collectors.
