Lovely doll. Not a fan of the outfit, but the doll itself is too cute. Her feet are smaller than other Monster High dolls, and she's a good bit shorter than other dolls. Her skin has a blue shimmer to it but it's not overboard. I put her in a pink outfit which I think looks much nicer than the stiff, shiny, gold dress she came with. The accessories are cute but I think the metallic blue and grey look strange with the gold dress and gray/pink doll. Other than the dress which I really don't like, the doll is wonderful and absolutely adorable. This doll does come with a stand, brush, and little diary book. Her hair looks like the picture and was nicely curledI put the gold dress on a different doll and I think it looks much better. I put this mouse doll in a pink outfit I made, and I think it matches her hair and accessories nicely. This is probably the cutest Monster High doll I've seen. I'm an adult collector, so this doll won't be played with. I'm not sure how it will hold up. However, while handling this doll, I noticed that the tail can fall out, and the elbows are pretty loose for a brand new doll. Her arms don't hold poses very well. This doesn't bother me much, but it's possible that the arms will fall off if it gets played with.Well packaged, quickly shipped. Extremely well priced. Excellent seller. I would definitely buy from this seller again!!My 9 year old twins (boy and girl) both (yes both) enjoy playing monster high. Now it's not my son's #1 choice but he loves his sister and he is good at "now it's your turn to pick what we play" and although he will only play if he has a boy he does have fun. For about a month they had 0 interest in monster high (lps- littlest pet shop was the new thing) well we were at fred meyer and saw this doll and all 3 of us freaked out. Adorable. Such a cute doll! Well that's all it took and they are into monster high again. My daughter is "baby mouse" so needless to say I ordered it for christmas. I was thankful to find it on a deal of the day for $13 (at fred meyer it was $28) before the deal of the day it was $23 on amazon but has since dropped to $15.definately shop around because one day monster high dolls are a fortune next day they arent. Seems to happen with almost every monster high doll if you wait until it's been out a few weeks. She is interesting and the mousy look is a strange in-between of cute and not-so-pretty. Since her dress flairs out a lot, you're a bit limited to what you can do with her on her stand. The fabric is also very stiff. Her top is soft and leathery. Her tail is a bit of a nuisance because it falls off easily. But this is a problem with all of the ones with tails. She is a bit shorter than the usual dolls and therefore her feet are smaller. There are some others that also have small feet though. I don't know why. I love her tiny feet and shoes but the disadvantage is that the other dolls can't wear her shoes properly. Their heels stick out a bit. It's a pity because it's such beautiful shoes.I simply love this doll, she's made and put together beautifully. Everything from her shimmery skin to soft cotton candy hair and chic outfit (that's actually a two piece set) is magical, even her stand is carved to be fancy. The simplistic accessorizes stay on nicely while my young daughter plays with her, which can be a big deal breaker for me, constantly putting belts/necklaces back on repeatedly or trying to find lost crowns..can drive me batty after a bit. Parents you know what I'm talking about. Her tail is very interesting too, made from hard plastic and designed and sculpted sleekly like a mouse's would be. For I've bought feline MH dolls before and never really been a fan of the bulky tail that gets in the way or falls off but Mouscedes' has been improved to harmonized with the rest of her. If you're a fan of the Boo York line's aesthetic I fully recommend this doll.I love her. Now, my doll does have a little bit of eye unevenness but since she's a mouse and the doll is a little bit wall eyed to begin with even with perfect eye placement, I think it adds to her charm.I even like the weird dress and, unlike some of the other dolls, the crystal theme used for this particular line, is done more interestingly. Gold crystal patterning on her dress, black for her shoulders and teal for her crown. she's completely worth what I paid. I mean, come on. How often are you going to get a mouse girl doll that isn't way too cutsey? This Monster High Boo York character Mouscedes King the daughter of the Rat King is absolutely adorable. Her pink hair, light gray skin, with her shoulder plates, tiara and sparkly green belt is so squeeky sweet. Her dress and shoes are hardly cheesy as she is a princess obviously. Her dad being a King and all. Like all Monster High dolls she comes with a a stand and a skull head brush. My daughter has been collecting Monster High Dolls for a few years now but hasn't asked for any in over a year. She put this one on her Christmas list and she is center stage on the Monster High shelf these days. All Monster High fans will love her. This doll is extremely cute. Her proportions are accurate for how tiny she is compared to some of the other dolls. Something I love about Monster High dolls, as I get more of them, is that their clothes are made for their size and their accessories are too (her shoes do not fit Viperine, but they do fit Lorna McNessie). Her dress is gorgeous in person and her custom sculpting is subtle and well executed. Only issue is her cape/shoulder guard doesn't stay on well by itself--I have to keep it tied on with the clear rubber bands which is a bit of a bummer but not enough of one to truly upset me.I’m one of those people who always wanted a Barbie doll when they were a kid but never got one. I’m now an adult toy collector and I also buy dolls for my daughter, who has been a big fan of Monster High, Ever After High and Barbie. When the different Barbie body types became available we both thought that was great and initially we were happy with our purchases. Now my little girl is very upset and that angers me as a parent. These dolls are DEFECTIVE. Mattel, the company without a moral compass, that makes Barbie, Monster High, Ever After High - and many other brands - are well aware that their products are defective but have not issued any product recall that we can find. So what’s the problem with these dolls? They leak GOO! Seriously!!! The dolls heads are filled with glue to hold in the doll’s hair (this in itself is a cost cutting measure as this is a relatively new way to root the dolls hair - previously the hair was machine rooted, this being more durable but more expensive. Mattel has moved to cheaper production methods that basically mean their toys are more prone to defects and lack durability).I first became aware of a problem when my little girl said that playing with her dolls was making her hands sticky. Taking a quick look at the dolls confirmed that the doll hair was sticky and greasy - and this GOO was now all over my little girls hands. As a parent I find this ALARMING!!! I checked more of her dolls and found even more had GOO leaking from the head - to be clear Monster High, Ever After High and Barbie are all affected. I tried to wash the GOO off but it didn’t work, in fact the warm water only causes more GOO to leak from the dolls head. I also checked my own dolls - these are dolls that have only ever been displayed. To my dismay, I found GOO was also affecting some of these dolls. One of my favourites was one of the new Curvy Barbies - she has a great face mould, had a fabulous outfit - but right now is fit only for the trash. It is not an old doll, this a fairly recent purchase and I think a doll should last longer than a couple of months or even a couple of years. I have dolls in my collection from the 1950’s, 1960’s, 1970’s, etc - and these dolls are in way better condition than these recent Mattel purchases. It was my belief that we have had the dolls too long to return them to Amazon and other retailers where we made purchases, so I contacted Mattel’s Customer Service Department (Spoiler! This turned out to be a complete waste of time - so not only does Mattel produce DEFECTIVE toys but they also don’t want to take any responsibility for it. Frankly, I hate that!).First of all Mattel customer service is SLOW. Do not expect them to reply in a timely fashion. Maybe this is because lots and lots and lots of people are contacting them about the DEFECTIVE toys they have purchased? Any reply you receive will be curt, bordering on RUDE. Any reply will be evasive to the point of being dishonest - because it seems Mattel does not want to admit that the toys are DEFECTIVE, or that they have known they are DEFECTIVE for YEARS, and because they appear to have taken no steps to recall these DEFECTIVE dolls, despite a mountain of evidence clearly showing that Mattel knew of the problem and yet continued using inferior production methods and churning out dolls that are potentially HARMFUL.This is what Mattel customer service had to say about the GOO, this is a direct quote:“We believe that the greasy, sticky feel to the dolls’ hair is coming from a wax which gets on to the dolls’ hair as part of the hair fixing process where we use a small amount of glue inside the dolls head. This wax is a paraffin wax that is commonly used in cosmetics and is not harmful”.Er, OK… First of all, it’s NOT paraffin wax - it’s GLUE, and I’m not aware of any cosmetics I use that contain GLUE (moisturiser with GLUE, anyone?!). Here’s the thing, paraffin wax may not be harmful but this is NOT paraffin wax, this is GLUE. See the problem?! This may be a glue that contains paraffin but it also contains other substances, other chemicals, or it wouldn’t be glue. This is actually a three-part glue, and if it is not mixed correctly and precisely, it will break down, causing this GOO to leak from the dolls head - and that is really bad, really, really BAD, it should NOT be happening. Secondly, the quote states, “we use a small amount of glue inside the dolls head” and I take issue with this because if you cut open the dolls head, there isn’t a “small amount of glue”, there’s LOADS of glue.I’m a scrupulously honest person and I absolutely hate deceit of any kind. Basically, Mattel are giving me the brush-off by saying that paraffin wax is not harmful when the issue has nothing to do with paraffin wax, the real issue is GLUE. I’m disgusted by this!!! They should be recalling these dolls, not fobbing off parents and collectors with half truths and lies.I wanted Mattel to replace our dolls but they refused to do this, even though I could provide purchase verification. Oh no, Mattel offered me a £10 Argos voucher. I cannot replace these dolls with a £10 Argos voucher - Argos doesn’t even sell these dolls! These dolls cost more than £10, some considerably more. I pointed that out to them but they refused to do the decent thing. They also want me to send the dolls back to them (why would I do that? If I do that I won’t be able to send them off for analysis…)I’ve also discovered that Mattel is offering to reimburse customers in the USA nearly twice as much for dolls affected by the GOO issue. So, in the first place, we generally pay MORE for these dolls than customers in the USA but Mattel are fully prepared to offer us LESS when we complain about these DEFECTIVE products. Does that seem fair? It doesn’t seem fair to me or my little girl.I would not be a decent parent if I continued to allow my little girl to play with a defective toy. Explaining the issues to her and taking these dolls away from her has caused upset. Kids love their toys. Toys are cherished. Well, at least when profit isn’t the motivator - and that is obviously Mattels motivator. This unscrupulous company is putting profits before quality and possibly even safety and that’s why I’m BOYCOTTING Mattel. If you want to learn more, just google ‘Mattel glue seepage’, ‘Barbie glue seepage’ or ‘monster high glue seepage’.There are plenty of alternatives to Mattel products. Lottie dolls are lovely, as are Lori dolls. Paola Reina dolls are just beautiful. Steffi Love dolls fit vintage doll clothes perfectly. The Descendants dolls, made by Hasbro, each have a different skin tone and face mould. There are plenty of better options out there. Don’t waste your money on Mattel. They’ve made me so angry I’ve had to use UPPER CASE!!!Mouscedes is a really adorable l and well worth adding to any Monster High collection. She is a Ghoul from the Boo York, Boo York Movie, the doll stands at approx 25 cm tall including her ears which makes her one of the shorter Monster High Dolls, but it does not take away from the pleasure my daughter has playing with herShe comes with a brush and passport and stand as standardMy daughter really loves this doll, my other daughter is green with envy and has requested one for her birthday, BUT I have had to glue an arm on already and spent an hour looking for a missing hand - so wont last long with boisterous play and definitely has bits a smaller child would choke on.Beautiful doll but I'm glad I only paid £7 for her, as one of her arm ball joints doesn't work as if I was to move it ,it would snap off.The stand she comes with doesn't stay together and falls apart, not sure if the stand is faulty or this is due to the dolls heavy weight,I also found it hard to place the doll in the stand due to the hard leather like material of the top which makes it hard to fit her into her holder.Other than the arm and display stand issues, she is beautifully detailed. It is the tenth addition for my daughter's Monster High family. She loves it! And i think it's beautiful too!! Great price in comparison with the ones we saw in stores and fast delivery. A highly recommended.
