Originally bought this product to see if my dog would Chase it around the yard. He was not interested LOL. That doesn't mean that all dogs won't be interested. It's just that he wasn't very interested. And I ended up giving it to one of my friends as a graduation gift.What I liked about the car is that I honestly put it through a test to see if it could handle certain terrains and if it could handle being launched off of things. Now I didn't try anything very high because I wasn't trying to destroy it. But it was pretty durable for different heights that are reasonable.It's also pretty fast which was very enjoyable to me and my friend who are playing with it.I think the battery was decent. If you play with it for too long then obviously it's going to drain the battery faster than someone who plays with it in bursts.Ordered and received the next day! Had a little bit a life in the batteries when we opened it so of course we had to try it out. First calibration then test drive. I have to say for the price and time we received it and the smile on my boys face was priceless. We will buy moreThe only thing he dislikes about it is the battery life doesn't last long and the clips like to fly offThe car feels cheaply made. If it was $40-$50, I would be content. But at the price of $70-$80, I don't think it's worth it. Pros are that it's pretty fast, but the plastic parts that make up the suspension and other components have already come apart (though I was able to snap them back into place). The battery pack is a little too big for the compartment that it's housed in, causing the battery pack cover to bulge out a bit. Doesn't affect performance, but could lead to stress cracks in the future. It's also a bit cumbersome to change the battery out. That said, it's still an all around fun toy and I've used it several times and have had fun with it. It was a bit smaller than the videos make it seem so keep that in mind.This truck is great. It really is hard to find a good budget RC truck that is quick. I bought this truck knowing that at some point it would break down. The goal was to be able to find parts and replace and fix it. The truck did break down but when I contacted the company there were quick to respond and show me what parts I could use to replace the ones that had broken. I was able to replace the plastic axle that had broken with metal ones and the truck is back up and running. My kids loves it and I'm glad we found something that is fun for him and something I can fix so i don't have to purchase another one. I really recommend this truck and company. Totally worth it.good fun car, we bought two so we could race together. the first car broke the axles after two days, the second broke them after one battery.... they only give you one spare axle and it doesn't look like they are available to purchase. I wouldn't want to anyway as they are obviously brittle and don't last. I had to make my own out of a more durable materialMy honest advise for anyone in the market for a RC car:I can't tell you how many customer reviews I read on different RC cars, but when I got to RC Monster, all of their reviews were amazing. Everyone loved the RC car and everyone loved their customer service. So based on reviews alone, I decided to buy a Hurricane for my daughter as a Christmas gift. Little did I know, it would turn out to be her favorite gift of all.This thing is F-A-S-T. With a freshly charged battery, this thing spins all 4 tires with ease. Other RC's advertise 45 kph and the Hurricane is 60 kph and its very noticeable. I was also surprised at how long the charge lasts (lasts a very long time). It comes with 2 batteriesWe had a small issue with the RC. I emailed Frank with their support team and he responded almost immediately. Frank and RC Monster have made me a very happy customer and I will recommend to anyone in the market for a great RC car to purchase any of RC Monster's products. They have quality products and their customer service is amazing.I hope this helpsStarted off great, but next day~ the receiver and speed control just quit!?
